These are the times when I really wish we had our very own Grinch so he can just stick everything in his bag and do all the "taking down Christmas" work. Then, next year he can come and give back all the decorations and stuff.
It takes a couple hours to get the tree all packed up because of taking down all the ornaments, candy canes, lights and the garland. I'm lucky that now my mom has a new boyfriend to help her take down the outside lights so after today's de-Christmafying, I'm through until this next November when we have to put everything back up.
